Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Crown Point, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of the construction of a new 8" PVC sanitary sewer line and extension, sidewalk replacement and restoration. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided in the Project Documents, and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashiers check payable to the Town of Winfield or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks from unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them by the Town upon selection of the successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide both a Performance and Payment Bond each portion in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. Pursuant to Indiana Code 22-5-1.7-11, the Contractor entering into a contract with the Town of Winfield is required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all of its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-22-16.5 the Town of Winfield may not contract with a person who is engaged in investment activities in Iran. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the Owner will consider the Total Base Bid and/or any combinations of the total base bid and/or alternate bids made for the Contract. The Owner may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents or which the Owner may legally consider. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Town deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
