Scope of Work The objective of this RFB is to procure a service provider to supply facility cleaning services at the Ontario Science Centre. The Centre is open five to seven days a week to visitors (closed December 25) and requires facility cleaning services seven days a week with service coverage required during the day and at night for nightly cleaning. The Centre is a multi-building facility occupying approximately a 631,000 sq. ft. of which 390,000 will require cleaning as it is controlled by the Ontario Science Centre. The site is divided into three connected buildings; A, B, and C. Approximately 75% of the cleaning area is hard surface (tile, terrazzo, concrete), while the remaining 25% is carpeted. Building "A" is comprised of 72,000 sq. ft. of public areas and 16,400 sq. ft. of back office areas. Building "B" is comprised of 89,000 sq. ft. of public areas and 24,000 sq. ft. of back office areas. The two level bridge that joins Building "A" and "B" together has 9,600 sq. ft. of public space area. Building "C" is comprised of 100,000 sq. ft. of public areas and 79,000 sq. ft. of back office areas.
