Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jefferson Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The bidder will be responsible for mailing costs, if any. Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: for the furnishing and application of emulsions/asphalt and crushed limestone necessary to strip patch and/or chip and seal the various roads of Jefferson Township, as directed by the Board of Trustees. Bids are to be for complete work, including all sweeping, rolling and furnishing of all necessary lights and barricades. Bids are to be submitted on a unit basis-gallons and tons applied to Township roads and are to be submitted according to the specifications included with the bid forms. Total estimated cost for each project will not exceed the amount specified within the four separate bid packets. In accordance with R.C. 153.54, no bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a bid bond or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the Board of Trustees of Jefferson Township, Preble County, Ohio. The attention of the bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions, R.C. 4115.02 et. seq., governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on public improvements, and also to R.C. 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. The Board of Trustees of Jefferson Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
