Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) is seeking proposals from fencing vendors to establish approved vendors for work that may include, but not limited to; individual projects to provide, install, and/or repair fences and gates throughout the district. Plano ISD may award this contract to multiple vendors in order to best serve the needs of the District. This estimate may be exceeded by 25% annually. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and available funding. TERM: The term of the contract will be one year from date of Board approval with four successive one-year auto-renewal terms. Upon each one-year renewal term, vendors may opt out in writing if they do not wish to agree to the contract renewal. At the time of each one-year renewal term we will consider price increases for the awarded line items involved. This decision will be made by Plano ISD in its best interests at that time. Plano ISD has the option to extend this RFP at the end of the performance period for up to 120 days if determined to be in the best interest of the district to ensure availability of products and/or services. Plano ISD has the option to issue subsequent RFPs as needed.
