Valve,4in,check,fire/dc,ul/fm Appr Valve, Check, (Fire/detector Check), 4in, Underwriter Laboratories Inc.(Ul)listed and Factory Mutual Laboratories (Fm) Approved. Each Valve Shall Carry the Seal of Approval or Be Accompanied by a Certification of Approval of the Above Named Laboratories. The Valve Shall Have Flanged Ends. The Cases and Covers Shall Be Bronze, Cast Iron or Ductile Iron. The Cast and Ductile Iron Cases and Covers Shall Be Epoxy Coated With Uniform Coating of Not Less Than 0.003 Inches.the Coating Shall Be Applied After All Machine Operations Have Been Completed and Before Thread Tapping. The Check Valve Case Shall Be Tapped on Both Sides of the Valve Body to Allow for the Installation of a Detector Meter or by-passing Around the Valve Seat and Clapper. The Tapping Shall Be 3/4 Inch, Standard Iron Pipe Thread on Both Sides of the Valve Body. All Tapped Outlets Shall Have Plugs With Square Heads Made of Cast Iron, Ductile Iron or Bronze.the Valve Shall Be Used Use on Commercial Fire Protection Systems.supplied Without Detector Meter.
