Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Havana, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project shall consist of extending the Havana Middle School sidewalk to 11th Avenue from 5th Street to Iron Bridge Road and on Iron Bridge Road from 11th Avenue to CR 12A. Drainage improvements, detectable warning surfaces, sod, striping, and signage are also proposed to be installed during this project. Completion date for this project will be 75 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $868.00 per day. The bidder or their subcontractor shall be prequalified in the following work classes; Sidewalk Construction, Flexible Paving, Pavement Markings, and Roadway Signing. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose bid best complies with the specifications. Bidders may withdraw their bid by notifying the County in writing at any time prior to the deadline for bid submittal. After the deadline, the bid will constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, bids become a record of the County and will not be returned to the bidders. EEO/AA
