Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Wellesley invites bids for the purchase of Microsurfacing Treatments of Hot-Mix Asphalt Roadways, in accordance with the terms of the Invitation for Bid. Prospective Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00, Prequalification of Contractors. Bids received by Contractors not on the official or waiver contractor lists issued by MassDOT Prequalification Office will be considered not qualified and their bid will not be opened. This contract shall be made available for purchases of said materials to other Town of Wellesley Departments and Boards. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the Town of Wellesley. Bid deposit shall be $500. This contract, in accordance with the Chapter 303 Acts of 2008, contains a price adjustment for both liquid asphalt emulsions and Diesel Fuel and Gasoline. The base price for asphalt cement, Diesel Fuel and Gasoline on this project will be the MassDOT Period Prices. These shall be specified in the bid package. No such envelope shall contain more than one bid. The Department of Public Works reserves the right to accept any bid item or combination of bid items or reject any or all proposals, as in its sole judgment, the best interest of the Town of Wellesley would be served by so doing.
