Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project contemplated herein consists of the Contractor performing repairs to the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility Railway. All contractor and subcontractor employees shall obtain specific site plant safety training from Veolia Water prior to working on the site. Veolia Water will offer a total of two one-hour training sessions to the contractor and any subcontractors. The Contractor shall adhere to all Veolia Water safety policy and procedures. Questions pertaining to the proposed work should be directed to Christopher Bocciardi, 414 217-1568. The time for completion of the Contract shall be one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Veolia Water reserves its rights to reject any Bid, to reject all Bids, and any bid not conforming to the intent of the invitation for bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time not exceeding forty five (45) days from the bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn during this forty five (45) day period. Veolia Water reserves its rights to waive any informality or deficiency in any Bid, to accept any Bid, to negotiate modifications of any Bid with any Bidder and accept any modified Bid, and to rebid the Project, all at Veolia Water's sole discretion. Small Business - 5% Women-owned Business - 2% Minority-owned Business - 13% Completion- (120) days The following specification describes the railway repairs at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility (JIWRF). This project includes the raising of track bed, abandonment of track section, track cribbing and raising sections of track Remove the existing concrete and/or asphalt in the crossing. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all material in accordance with all local and national disposal codes. o Remove all existing track, ties, ballast bed and any other material. o Restore site with compacted sub-grade, sub-base, base and surface coats, with surface coat asphalt matching the grade of the surrounding area. o Install one (1) set of WC Hayes Type SF Cushion Wheel Stops at the Northeast corner of the Bldg. 256 Thickening Facility.
