Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in San Antonio, Texas. Working plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
As of 4/8/2022, this solicitation is canceled. The demolition will be handled through another process. Questions Due Date: Apr 11th 2022, 1:00 PM CDT Demolition of a fire-damaged building at the Cottage Creek Apts Provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, supervision and insurance, etc. to accomplish the abatement and demolition of the entire existing structure down to the slab. a. Beacon is engaging the services of an engineer to determine if the slab will also be demolished and disposed of. b. Respondents must provide additional detail regarding the schedule to include times for removal work, starting and ending dates for each activity and final timeline to complete the project 2. Existing city curbs and sidewalks are to remain in place if present. 3. If the foundation is determined to be faulty and be removed, leave lot level where the foundation was removed and insure that the area is level, smooth and free of debris after demolition and does not allow for standing water. If fill is needed it shall not be spoil materials. 4. A temporary construction fence has been installed around the site to be demolished; Contractor shall assume the rental of this fence before the actual demolition is scheduled to occur. 5. Cap any existing water, gas, and sewer lines to include underground electrical conduit below grade per COSA requirements before demolition and if required after slab removal. 6. Remove debris in accordance with City, State and Federal regulations and at a landfill meeting regulatory requirements. Respondent will provide location of landfill being used to dispose of debris. a. Beacon reserves the right to obtain copies of the dump tickets 7. Perform all work in accordance with OSHA, EPA, TDH, and Federal, State and local rules and regulations. 8. Fill and lightly compact any depressions, ruts, or holes left by the removal with sandy loam topsoil free of debris, large stones, and noxious weeds etc. 9. Contractor is responsible to check for any utilities (call 811) and have them marked prior to start of demolition
