Renovation of a military facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and military facility.

The deadline to submit technical questions is Thursday, 31 March 2022 at 11:00 a.m. CST via email to jennifer.lopez.18@us.af.mil and misty.wilcox.3@us.af.mil. 1.1 Background Multiple systems and structures of Building 147 at Joint Base San Antonio - Chapman Training Annex (JBSA-CTA) have severely deteriorated over several years. The building finishes are outdated, and in very poor condition. The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and electrical systems are antiquated, and have exceeded their lifecycle expectancies. The building's fire suppression system is no longer fully functional. The building only has partial sprinkler protection and the fire alarm system is not equipped with mass notification capability. Key building foundation systems show evidence of significant differential movement. Damage to the foundation and sub- floor requires repair. The elevator and egress stairs on the South half of the building require replacement due to foundation movement. 1.2 General Scope The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and other requirements necessary to renovate Building 147 at JBSA-CTA. IV) The work includes the repair of structural systems to address foundation movement, replacement of the existing HVAC systems, replacement of degraded electrical systems, replacement of plumbing systems, repair of the fire suppression systems, installation of a new fire alarm/mass notification system, renovation of outdated restroom finishes and fixtures, replacement of stairs for code compliance, and incidental related work. All HVAC chillers installed in Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, shall be TRANE HVAC systems, per HVAC Standardization Policy, established in accordance with AFCEC/CL Memo, 3 May 2019, Air Force Policy Memorandum Mandatory Standardization of Essential HVAC System Components. *Addendum 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 have been released.
