Site work for a civil project in Longueuil, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Program of upgrades and repairs to the city waste water facilities, treatment plant CERS and its equipment. The scope of the project includes installation of new equipment and expansion of the capacity of the plant treating the wastewater of the cities of Boucherville, Brossard, Longueuil and Saint-Lambert with a total population of more than 400,000 people. The scope of the project also includes new pipelines installation, upgrades to the pumping facilities and network separation in different sectors of the territory served by the plant. An amount of $38 million included into this program will be used to modernize wastewater treatment equipment over the next three years, including $31 million only at the Center d'épuration Rive-Sud (CERS). TIMELINE: Owner has phased implementation of the project. First construction phase relating to the replacement of the screening equipment to increase the dehydratation capacity of the treatment plant has been tendered, awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name CERS - Centre d'Épuration Rive-Sud - Upgrades. The owner has awarded several sub trade contractor for supply and installation of required equipment. Construction started. If/when subsequent package teners are issued, they will be followed in new separate reports.
