This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation ("SaskPower") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Installation of HP Coupling Valves & Associated Piping Spool at Cory Cogeneration Station, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Work"). SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan. Scope of Project: The Contract is to obtain pricing, alternatives and options to provide SaskPower with the following services: Demolition of the four (4) existing HP coupling valves, associated piping spools, and supports. Installation of four (4) new HP coupling valves, associated piping spools, and supports. Installation of temporary piping restraint to hold the upstream and downstream piping. Equipment, rigging and services to lift and move the prefabricated piping spool at the location. Location of Site: The Cory Cogeneration Station is a natural gas electric generating facility consisting of three unit(s) totaling 260 megawatts. The Station is located approximately eight (8) kilometers west of the corporate limits of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
