The work will consist of mill, overlay, binder, and base repair on an as-needed basis of several roads within the Borough, including North 2nd Street, Pear Alley, Center Road, and Locust Lane. Clarification deadline 4/25/2022 2:00 pm Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act All Requests for Information shall be submitted online by 2:00 pm on April 25th.No responses will be provided for requests received after that time or submitted by other means. Bids will be publicly awarded on May 3, 2022 at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Womelsdorf Borough Hall, 101 W. High Street, Womelsdorf PA 19567. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Womelsdorf Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
