The City of Claremont would welcome your participation in the bid process for the above stated project in the City of Claremont, County of Los Angeles (City) and will receive up to, but no later than the time set forth above, sealed bids for the award of a contract for work described in the Scope of Work. Scope of Work - CONTRACTOR shall provide "Major Service" once annually in October and "Minor Service" once annually in March as well as a two-hour load test annually in March as outlined below. CONTRACTOR's staff shall address additional recommended services at time of inspection with the Maintenance Supervisor and will charge the CITY the current approved labor rate and materials for those services. At the time that the CITY requires additional or emergency repairs generator service, the Maintenance Supervisor will contact and authorize the CONTRACTOR for such services. Such services will be billed at the approved rates under Additional Services on the Bid Sheet. CONTRACTOR shall have experience and be familiar with work on various types of transfer switches.
