Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout services for the addition of a detached 6300 sf warehouse building for receiving and storing soil samples for testing. Space is also to include 150 sf receiving room, 150 sf office space for staff, 50 sf restroom, 100 sf hazardous waste storage area, 500 sf maintenance shop, and 875 sf pinewood lab. Scope of work includes design of a steel framed warehouse structure with metal cladding slab on grade foundation, plumbing mechanical and electrical designs to accommodate the proposed work areas and provide climate/ humidity-controlled storage for soil samples to prohibit mold growth until the samples can be tested. Additional work will include a covered walkway between the existing building to the new warehouse; travel considerations between the buildings and renovations within the Eaddy building to improve access between existing workspaces and storage areas. In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
