Renovation of an office development in Grand Junction, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The City of Grand Junction is soliciting competitive bids from qualified and interested companies for all labor, equipment, and materials required to Remove and Replace the roof over the Persigo Orchard Mesa Office located at 251 27 Road, Grand Junction, CO. 1. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to successfully complete the work. 3. Contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements and information prior to the start of work. 4. The Persigo Office roof is approximately 5,600 square feet. 5. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all layers of shingles to deck and inspect the deck. 6. Any deck repairs will be separate on time and materials basis. 7. Remove and dispose of gutters. 8. Remove and dispose of six (6) roof mounted turbine vents and repair the deck in those same six (6) locations. 9. Remove and replace all roof vents except for two (2) powered roof vents on the north side. 10. Remove and replace all pipe boots. 11. Remove and replace all flashing. 12. Remove and replace three (3) roof jacks for AC units. 13. Install new drip edge. 14. Install Ice and Water shield around coolers, valleys, and large penetrations. 15. Install sixteen-inch (16") Ice and Water shield at bottom of roof edge over drip edge. 16. Install synthetic underlay. 17. Install new asphalt shingle with 20-year warranty. BID ALTERNATE: 18. Install a six-inch (6") K style gutter with 3 inch x 4 inch down spouts, no single run gutters. 19. Gutters shall be split in the middle to go east and west. The amount of the Bid Guaranty shall not be less than 5% of the total Bid amount. Contractor shall furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to that specified for the contract amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of all Contractor's obligations under the Solicitation documents. Notice of Award & Contract execution April 25, 2022 Work begins no later than May 10, 2022 Final Completion 30 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all substitutions or alternatives. The Owner reserves the right to: - reject any and all Bids, - waive any and all informalities, - negotiate final terms with the Successful Bidder, and - take into consideration past performance of previous awards/contracts with the Owner of any Contractor, Vendor, Firm, Supplier, or Service Provider in determining final award. and - disregard any and all nonconforming, nonresponsive or conditional Bids The Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Offeror who does not pass any evaluation to the Owner's satisfaction.
