Remove existing header and pipeline for a combined total of 140' Install new 36" PVC C900 header and connect to the 4 pumps to include 4 new 16" butterfly valves and 2 new 16" check valves (2) Check valves and connection to be salvaged and reused on the first 2 pumps Extend pipe from end of the header out to a total distance of 140' including header, Install mag meter and 10'X10' vault, install a 36" MJ tee at the end of the line and install 2 36" butterfly valves and connect one branch to the existing 27" RCCP raw water main. Install 2hp sump pump in vault including electric connection and 50' of 2" PVC discharge piping. All questions regarding bidding and the submission of bids shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street, telephone number (903) 457-3111. Bidders are required to submit, with the bid package, a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Greenville, or a Bidder's bond from a reliable surety company, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Greenville in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid submitted as a guarantee that bidder will enter into a contract and execute all necessary bonds (if required) within 10 days after notice of award of the contract to him. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond in accordance with Article 5160, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, in the amount of 100% of the total contract price in the event that said contract price exceeds $25,000.00. If the contract price does not exceed $25,000.00, the said statutory bonds will not be required.
