Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to April 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of the RFP is to select a professional engineering firm to provide the City with engineering services to complete Rockefeller-McCormick-Loch Ravine Design. This request for engineering services involves the design of needed repairs to City storm sewer outfalls and infrastructure at three locations along the McCormick Ravine System located adjacent to 881 E. McCormick Drive, 1221 Loch Lane, and 535 S. McCormick Drive. Professional engineering services for the Rockefeller-McCormick-Loch Ravine Design will include, but are not limited to, site review, surveying, wetland assessment, regulatory requirement review, permitting, structural and/or geotechnical engineering as determined to be necessary, development of all construction documents, development of cost estimates, construction bid support, and construction phase support. Additionally, the selected firm will be expected to collaborate with City staff which may include, but is not limited to, the Public Works Department (to include the Engineering Section) and the Parks and Recreation Department. The firm may also be required to present designed plans to City Boards and Commissions which may include, but are not limited to, the Public Works Committee, Finance Committee, and City Council.
