Renovation of an educational facility in Indian Head, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project value is $600,000-$700,000. The Charles County Public Schools, La Plata, Maryland, requests sealed bids for Matthew Henson Middle School HVAC Replacement. The scope of the project includes the replacement of the existing water cooled multizone air handling unit with hot water heat coil with a water source heat pump DOAS unit for ventilation air and a water cooled VRV system for space heating and cooling including all associated piping and, ductwork. All existing locally controlled automatic temperature control system shall be replaced in its entirety with a Tridium direct digital control system (by EASI) utilizing electric/electronic actuation. Thermostats, controllers, control valves, damper actuators, etc. shall be replaced in their entirety in a fully turnkey fashion. Work includes all associated electrical work, ceilings and finishes, structural and roofing. Project schedule is 417 days. Proposed Bidders who seek to be Pre-Qualified shall complete the Contractor's Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and submit for approval to bid this project. Allow 2-4 days for properly completed questionnaire review and approval. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
