Renovation of a civil project in Steubenville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The construction cost estimate is $4,125,515. The project consists of rehabilitating the two lagoons at the 110,000 GPD Smithfield Wastewater Treatment Plant, one at a time; removal and disposal of removed sludge; demolition of aeration piping and installation of floating aerators; and UV disinfection system improvements. Work at the nine sewage pump stations consists of rehabilitation or replacement of structures and equipment, and electrical improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Contract Times for completion and provisions on liquidated and special damages, if any, are indicated in the Agreement. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive all informalities. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, may reject any and all bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason.
