Nova Scotia Community College invites Bids for the Air Handling Unit Replacement at the NSCCAviation Institute, 375 Pleasant Street, Unit 100, Dartmouth, NS 1. Please see the attached Specifications and Drawings.
2. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate any and all service shutdowns/outages with the NSCC
Facilities Manager.
3. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate all inspections and tie ins with NSP (Nova Scotia Power) and all other utilities. All costs associated with NSP and local utilities will be the responsibility of the Contractor.
4. Any service interruptions to NSCC operations must be coordinated with NSCC and the Consultant. The Contractor will be responsible to complete any service shutdowns/outages during off hours (outside of NSCC's regular business hours).
5. The Contractor is responsible for removing the existing ceiling tiles in the area of work, palletizing and protecting from damage. The Contractor shall be responsible to replace any damaged ceiling tiles.
6. The Contractor is responsible to replace all ceiling grid damaged in the carrying out of the Work with new grid to match existing.
7. Bidders may submit an alternate solution providing the specification(s) for the proposed alternate are submitted not later than five (5) days before to closing. Alternates should include a side-by-side comparison to the currently specified solution that clearly shows the proposed alternate meets the same specifications Tender documents are available electronically from:
