Site work for a water / sewer project in Greenwich, New York. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of June 21, 2022, bids received were rejected. Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** Water System Improvements Project Contract 1 - Transmission Main Improvements The Project consists of the replacement of approximately 4,500 linear feet of 6-inch diameter water main with 12-inch diameter water main on Eddy Street from the Water Treatment Plant to the intersection of Eddy Street and Barber Avenue. The replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 6-inch diameter water main with 8-inch water main along Main Street (NY Route 29) from the intersection of Cottage Street to just before Lincoln Avenue is also proposed. Approximately 1,000 linear feet of 4-inch diameter water main replacement with 6-inch water main is proposed along Barber Avenue. Additionally, included is the installation of new gate valves, water main, hydrants, water services, tapping sleeve and valves, and appurtenances. Restoration and any site improvements (grading, fencing, etc.) are to be included.
