This is an invitation to bid for a vendor to provide custom pre-cut filtering media for evaporative cooler units. The State will be removing and replacing the media in 94 existing units. This bid is for materials only and the State will be soliciting separately for a vendor to remove and replace the media. This is a bid for supplies only. Questions can be submitted through the NevadaEPro Q&A until 4/4/22 at 10:00 AM. The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of High Desert State Prison in the Department of Corrections, is requesting bids from qualified vendors for a one-time purchase of custom sized, fire rated evaporative cooling and humidification media. The State expects to award the contract on or about April 12, 2022 and issue a Purchase Order on or about April 25, 2022. The State would prefer the product be delivered by June 1, 2022 and pursuant to NRS 333.340(1)(7) will take dates of delivery into consideration. Prospective vendors are welcome and encouraged to submit multiple bids with different delivery and/or price points. All media shall be Munters GLASdek GX30 fire rated evaporative cooling and humidification media or equal; Fire Rated UL 900, ULC-S111; see attached product specification sheet. If bidding an alternate product, vendor must attach product specification documents to demonstrate requirements compliance. Quote must include cost of freight for delivery to High Desert State Prison.
