Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Orinda, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of the maintenance of an existing AC pathway including but not limited to fencing, tree removals, spot repairs of storm drain pipe, base failure repairs, crack seals and slurry seals; constructing minor concrete structures including retaining curbs and a headwall; and installation of storm drain pipe and rock slope protection. The work to be done generally consists of the maintenance of an existing AC pathway including but not limited to: mobilization; traffic control and public convenience including notifications; temporary water pollution control; locating and protecting existing utilities, fencing and improvements; providing an arborist; clearing and grubbing including tree/root trimming and protection; tree removals; spot repairs of existing 15" and 30" Reinforced Concrete Pipe; improving the existing AC pathway by constructing base failure repairs, crack seals and slurry seals; constructing minor concrete structures including retaining curbs and a headwall; and installation of rock slope protection and a 12" PVC pipe encased in concrete with a trash screen. Number of Working Days: 20 Bids and bid bonds shall be made on the Bid Proposal issued. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check/s or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, made payable to the order of "City of Orinda". Any bid received after the time specified in this Notice will be returned unopened. No oral, telegraphic, or facsimile bids or modifications will be accepted or considered. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Bidder may not withdraw their bids after the bid opening. All bids will expire on the 36th day after bid opening unless the City extends the award period beyond the 36th day after the bid opening.
