EllisDon Corporation is the Construction Manager for the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation (TWRC) Cherry Street Storm Water and Lake Filling Project (CSLF) and Port Lands Flood Protection Project (PLFP). EllisDon invites eligible companies, firms or joint ventures to submit proposals for Canoe Cove Excavation and Finishes for construction of the PLFP project, located in the city of Toronto: The PLFP project requires Contractors to undertake dewatering and excavation in a dry condition, wet excavation, selective dockwall demolition, and install stone finishes within a new river valley at the bottom of the Lower Don River. The scope includes, but is not limited to, dewatering, excavation and grading, installation of Risk Management Measure Barrier Layers, installation of stone finishes, selective dockwall demolition, underwater removal of reinforced concrete secant and diaphragm walls, aquatic habitat stone and revetment structures, flow curtain design and installation. Where the anticipated contract value is greater than $250,000, the Proponent will be required to have the ability to bond with an established surety company.
