Specific Conditions for Procurement: The Supplier, as the Contractor (as defined in the Construction Act), must have achieved substantial performance (as defined in the Construction Act) on their reference projects in order to be considered for award of the Contract (all dollar amounts are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST): a. At least two (2) bridge projects with an aggregate value of $6,000,000.00 total in the last ten (10) years OR three (3) bridge projects with an aggregate value of $8,000,000.00 total in the last ten (10) years. Each reference project value must be in excess of $2,500,000.00 and must have involved bridge rehabilitation or improvement work on an urban arterial roadway in a major municipality. b. The Supplier shall employ the services of a Qualified Person as defined by O.Reg.153/04 and O.Reg.406/19 with the following additional qualifications to comply with the requirements of this Contract: A minimum 10 years of work-related soil management experience in projects of similar size, scope, and complexity to the Work; A current licence in good standing with Professional Engineers of Ontario or Professional Geoscientists of Ontario; Knowledge of Environmental Protection Act (Ontario), O. Reg. 153/04 and O. Reg. 406/19; Knowledge of relevant federal and Ontario environmental policies, procedures and legislation/regulations; Experience liaising with other speciality consultants, contractors, agencies, and governmental authorities; and, Experience with similar projects in the province of Ontario related to excess soil Contract duration is estimated at 24 months.
