The work to be performed under Contract No. T500.620, which is expected to be awarded at the June 2022, Commission Meeting, will consist of the replacement of existing diesel emergency generators on New Jersey Turnpike Interchange 13, from Milepost 99.8 to 100 in City of Elizabeth, Union County, Northern Division Headquarters, from Milepost 104.6 to 104.8 in City of Newark, Essex County and Interchange 15W from Milepost W108.7 to W108.9 in City of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey. The proposed generators will replace existing generators and provide power during emergencies. The estimated construction cost for Contract No. T500.620 is approximately $2,000,000.00 with an estimated duration for construction of twenty-four (24) months including contract closeout. The work to be performed under Contract No. T200.637, which is expected to be awarded at the June 2022 Commission Meeting, will consist of the replacement of an existing diesel emergency generator and a new LED lighting system on New Jersey Turnpike Interchange 17E, from Milepost E112.5 to E.113.8, including Interchange 17E in the Town of Secaucus, Hudson County, New Jersey. The proposed generator will replace the existing generator and provide power during emergencies, and the existing HPS lighting system will be replaced by a new LED lighting system. The estimated construction cost for Contract No. T200.637 is approximately $6,000,000.00 with an estimated duration for construction of twenty-four (24) months including contract closeout. The work to be performed under Contract No. A500.642, which is expected to be awarded at the August 2022 Commission Meeting, will consist of HVAC equipment replacement and associated work as follows: furnishing and installation of five (5) packaged terminal air conditioners serving ETC Huts at Turnpike Interchanges 8A, 13, & 14; two (2) new condensing boilers at Interchange 12; a tunnel air handling unit at Turnpike Interchange 14A; hydronic piping at Interchange 14B and 15E; and air handling & air-cooled condensing units at Garden State Parkway Essex Toll Plaza. All sites shall be commissioned/retro commissioned. Components shall include but are not limited to BMS Controls. Commissioning & Retro-Commissioning requirements are identified in the Plans and Specifications. The estimated construction cost for Contract No. A500.642 is approximately $2,500,000 with an estimated duration for construction of fourteen (14) months including contract closeout. Project background materials (preliminary plans, studies, reports, etc.) will be available for review electronically through the Authority's Secure File Sharing site in the "Background Materials" folder. Access to the secure workspace will be provided to all prequalified and eligible Consultants via e-mail as part of the RFEOI notification process.
