Water Utilities, Directional Drilling, Fittings and Valves, Traffic Control Devices (Signals, Signing, etc.), Fire Hydrant, Street/Road Repairs, Landscaping, Traffic Control/Flagging, Erosion Control - Temporary, Paving (Highway, Road or Street). General specifications for this project include the "City of Franklin Design Standards and Construction Specifications" dated July 2017 with all subsequent additions or revisions, "Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction", State of Wisconsin latest edition and subsequent supplemental specifications, and "Standard Specifications for Sewer and Water Construction in Wisconsin", sixth edition, with latest addenda. A certified check or bid bond, payable without condition to the City of Franklin in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a proper contract and bond as surety will be executed and filed within ten (10) days after the acceptance of the bid. If such bidder fails to execute and file such contract and bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The work associated with this project includes construction of water main extension, valves, hydrants, water laterals, pavement and turf restoration, temporary erosion control, traffic control within W. Ryan Road from Loomis Road to 1750 linear feet west in Franklin, Wisconsin. The water main pipe, water lateral pipe, hydrants, valves and valve boxes, corporation stops, and curb stops and boxes will be procured by the City of Franklin for use on this project. Bids shall include the furnishing and installation of all labor, materials other than those procured by the City of Franklin, permits, equipment, tools, supplies, etc., for complete performance of the work as described.
