Site work for a civil project in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades and expansion of the downtown wastewater treatment plant to meet the growing demand for wastewater treatment capacity in the concerned area. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new building and a new pre-treatment system, construction of an activated sludge ponds, installation of four new boosters, rehabilitation and modification of the activated sludge treatment sector and required modification to UV disinfection systems. The work also includes construction of required pipelines and demolition of certain existing structures. TIMELINE: Detailed design of the project is ongoing. The preliminary planning completed by the consulting engineer demonstrated the need to increase the construction budget and the financing package for the project implementation was increased to $30 million. Owner expects that the design of the project will be completed in mid-2026, the publication of a tender for the general contractor will follow.
