The Kankakee Police Department (hereafter, KPD) hereby gives notice we are seeking requests for proposals for Outdoor Video Cameras which operate with a cloud or hybrid cloud-based system. Our goal is to place cameras throughout the City of Kankakee to assist the KPD with investigations. The KPD proposes to purchase 20 commercial grade outdoor video cameras that operate from a cloud/hybrid cloud-based system. The KPD anticipates purchasing over 50+ cameras in the future as KPD sees necessary. The proposal shall include all costs for 20 cameras, cloud storage, operating system and a 10-year warranty for the cameras and system. Installation of these cameras shall not be included in the proposal. See Proposal Technical Specification Sheet for detailed requirements of the proposal. Any questions/comments can be referred to the Chief of Police Robin Passwater at rmpasswater@citykankakee-il.gov No award will be considered until the KPD has had sufficient time to review proposals.
