Rockford Park District intends to contract for the following items and services; specifications are on file with Demandstar.com. The Rockford Park District invites qualified firms to bid on demolition, earthwork, grading, and site restoration to construct a bioswale, wetland, and rock check stormwater control structures at Levings Park, 1420 S. Pierpont Ave., Rockford, IL 61102. Funding provided in part by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the Park District. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the IL Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
