Project Description: The proposed improvements to the bridges would be to mill the deck surface, hydro demolition the surface, repair any full depth patch and install a 2-inch modified latex concrete overly. Remove and replace asphalt approach pavement and provide a minimum 60-feet pavement transition to tie into existing pavement (2-inch asphalt overlay). The existing bridge and approach guardrails will be removed and replaced with current standard bridge approach railing. Install riprap scour protection at piers and abutments as needed. The bridges will be let as one bid contract.
