As of June 8, 2022, a general contractor has been awraded this project. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. In general, the work shall include removal of existing asphalt driveways, parking lots, trees, removal and salvage of light poles and similar, installation of sanitary sewer mains, reconstruction of parking lot, concrete stairs, and restoration. The project is located at 1100 Lakeview Drive in the City of Wausau. No bids shall be considered unless submitted on the official Proposal form. Marathon County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to award the Contract in the best interest of Marathon County. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the actual time of opening the bids. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid is required to be included with the Bid. The project timeline as set as May 9, 2022, to October 28, 2022.
