Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Tobermory, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,400-square-foot day care center; educational facility; office development; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This Childcare project will see the complete renovation and re-purposing of approximately 3400SF of the existing school. New Toddler (15) and Preschool (24) rooms will be created with new washrooms, kitchen, staff room, office, and laundry space. Upgrades to other areas of the school will be included in the project. HVAC upgrades to the entire building, electrical switchgear upgrades, new LED lighting throughout, fire alarm system improvements and some important door and security improvements. The sitework improvements included in the project are limited to a simple parking lot expansion (gravel) and the exterior play areas for the Childcare. Pre-qualification of the General Contractors has been completed by srm Architects Inc. The three pre-qualified General Contractors for this project are: 1. Allen Hastings Ltd. 2.
