Site work for a water / sewer project in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Crystal Lake will be accepting sealed bids in accordance with specifications for the City of Crystal Lake 2022 Lead Service Replacement Program. The project will include local funding (no State of federal funds) for the replacement of lead water services in the City of Crystal Lake. The proposed improvements consist of approximately 35 private side lead service lines replacements from b-box to the interior water meter, contractor coordination with residents, inspectors, and roadway contractor, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, temporary stockpiling of spoils, restoration, and all other appurtenant work required to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and all other applicable standards. This contract will be coordinating lead service replacement with IDOT contract 61H27 along N. Main Street and IL 176 (E. Terra Cotta Avenue). Contract 61H27 will be completed in two stages, and it is anticipated that this lead service replacement contract will also be performed in two stages.
