Renovation of an educational facility in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Demo existing boiler and boiler appurtenances. 2. Demo existing air separator. 3. Provide two high efficiency gas-fired boilers and appurtenances. 4. Provide air separator. 5. Provide DDC controls for boilers. 6. Provide miscellaneous improvements to the existing heating water system. 7. Electrical work to support mechanical scope. Start date: On or about June 27th, 2022. B. Substantial Completion: On or about August 1.2th, 2022 (may be sooner based on contractors schedule). Bid Bond: A Bid Deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount: of the base bid is required and must either be a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashiers check or certified check. Deposits of unsuccessful bidders will be returned: however, the three lowest will be held until after award of Contract. Bid Deposit ofsuccessful bidder will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of completed Performance and Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance, and signed Contract Agreement. The Board of Directors of Bellevue School District No. 405 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the receiving thereof or before award of Contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.
