This project includes the replacement of the existing ADA parking lot at OSU East Hospital. The parking lot is located at the northwest corner of Taylor Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue. The proposed ADA parking lot will be required to meet all ADA requirements including, but not limited to, quantity, configuration, signage, slope, and accessible routes. A review of the existing stormwater drainage system will be needed and addressed to meet all local codes and requirements. All associated impacts of the lot replacement will be included in this project. All state and local permits and requirements will be the selected A/E's responsibility to obtain and satisfy. The project and construction budget as listed in this RFQ is estimated. The project has been approved for design services only. This request is for Architect/Engineer (A/E) to provide design and project management to establish the schematic design concept , design development, construction documents and bidding. The university may amend the A/E contract upon approval for construction contract administration and post-construction services. Construction of new curbing, ramps, and concrete pad areas per plan and resurfacing the parking lot to ADA compliant slopes and standards. The parking lot will be restriped and signed per the City of Columbus and Ohio Accessibility Requirements.
