Work of 4.93 total miles of Various Roads in Whiteside County. Estimate of material quantities consist of: 327 Sq Yds of HMA Surface Removal (Butt Joints), 20,715 Lbs of Bituminous Tack Coat, & 3,616 Tons of HMA Mix C, N50, IL-9.5 (Surface). All proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Whiteside County Highway Department. No duplications of these forms will be allowed. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12) The Public Works Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept the proposal which is most advantageous to Whiteside County. The work included in this section shall consist of Bituminous Surface Removal - Butt Joints, the application of Bituminous Materials Tack Coat, placement and compaction of various depths of HMA Surface Course IL-9.5 Mix C N50 and other related items as specified by the Engineer.
