Renovation of an educational facility in Quincy, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of June 17, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. No timeline of award has been established** Quincy Community Schools will receive sealed bid proposals from qualified prime contractors for the 2022 JENNINGS KITCHEN RENOVATION project. The work includes select renovating the existing kitchen at Jennings Elementary. The work includes providing some architectural work, installing new kitchen ventilation equipment as well as electrical and plumbing services to support the new food service equipment. The project is NOT subject to the Davis-Bacon Act for prevailing wages. All bid proposals shall be submitted on the bid proposal forms provided in the specification book and completed in accordance with the bid proposal instructions. All bidders shall provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Quincy Community Schools (QCS) school district or the superintendent of the QCS. A form will be enclosed in the specifications booklet that shall be used for this purpose. A sworn and notarized Affidavit of compliance for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act certifying the contractor does and will comply with Public Act 517 of 2012 shall accompany all proposals. A form will be enclosed in the specifications booklet that shall be used for this purpose. The Project will be awarded to one prime contractor on or about, May 16, 2022. A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bids shall accompany each proposal. The Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check, or Money Order. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid date. Additional bond requirements are listed in the bid specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept a bid other than the low bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bid proposals which they feel to be in their own best interest. In accordance with Article 3 of the Agreement the dates of Substantial completion (occupied spaces) and completion and readiness for final payment are August 19, 2022 and December 31, 2022
