PN- ABL20718, 7811.16 The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities and technicalities. The Cedar Creek Trail Development Project (the Project) includes the construction of a concrete trail of varying widths for approximately 1.9 miles in length. The trail is generally sited along the eastern bank of Cedar Creek beginning at E.S. 11th Street and follows the creek until the trail's terminus at E.N. 10th Street. The Project also includes trail amenities such as a small parking area, bike stands, trash receptacles, pedestrian security beacons, water fountains, pet waste receptacles, picnic stations, fencing, and interpretive signage. Three trailheads are included in the Project. These will include specialty masonry features, landscaping and gathering spaces. The Project crosses Lytle Creek where a low water crossing will be constructed. Additionally, the trail corridor passes underneath a Union Pacific Railroad Trestle, just north of the confluence of Cedar and Lytle Creeks. A protective canopy will be constructed in this area to protect pedestrians from falling debris. Major work categories for this project include earthwork, concrete paving, masonry work, fine grading, turf establishment, metal fabrication/erection, and furnishing installation. Questions are due by April 22, 2022, at noon (12pm).
