Site work, renovation and addition to a power facility in Newport, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.
Contractor will furnish labor and equipment to accomplish the following: haul, fill and compact fill from a pre-approved source, excavate for and install conduit, demolish and remove reinforced concrete foundations, construct reinforced concrete foundations, filling and compacting around foundations, excavating for and installing trench channel, and placement and compaction of substation grade aggregate. In order for a bid to be accepted and considered for award of a contract, the submitted bids must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) regulating contract work for people's utility districts. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so.
