o The University is a public institution of higher education organized under the laws of the State of New Jersey with a current enrollment of approximately 9,900 students. The University is a distinguished University of arts, sciences and professional studies and is known for exceptional program offerings and an interdisciplinary approach to learning, providing students with a diverse, high-quality education. The University's main facilities are located on a 1,600-acre campus in Galloway, New Jersey. The University also has instructional sites in Ocean, Atlantic, and Cape May counties which provide a range of academic offerings, from continuing education to undergraduate and graduate-level coursework. The University is accepting proposals for building exterior cleaning services, inclusive of power washing and window cleaning. Services will be provided on an on-call, as-needed basis depending upon University need, and for specified scheduled services. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Power Washing Services (on-call, as needed): Services may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Power washing services will be requested and performed on an on-call, as-needed basis across all University campus locations. 2. Power wash exterior of building(s), not including windows, to remove all dirt, mildew, and other debris leaving a clean surface. 3. Cleaning process must be industry standard for the substrate being cleaned. 4. Exterior building materials include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: a. Stone b. Concrete c. Metal d. Dry-vit e. Stucco f. Vinyl siding g. Wood B. Window Cleaning Services (on-call, as needed): Services may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Exterior window cleaning services will be requested and performed on an on-call, as-needed basis across all University campus locations. Services may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: 2. Clean exterior windows to remove all dirt, film, staining, deposits, mildew, and other debris leaving a clean uniform appearance and streak-free surface. 3. Hand wash or purified water pole system. The intent of this RFP is to award a contract(s) to the responsible firm(s) whose proposal(s), conforming to this RFP, is most advantageous to the University, price and other factors considered. The University reserves the right to separately procure individual requirements that are the subject of the contract during the contract term, when deemed to be in the University's best interest. o Questions Due -> April 13, 2022 o Answers Posted to Website (Addendum) -> April 20, 2022 The anticipated contractual period will be for an initial one (1) year period with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year terms, The dates of award will be based on the fully executed contract resulting from this RFP. Contract renewals are subject to budgetary approval on a yearly basis. Stockton reserves the right to alter this time period upon review of all proposals.
