Site work for an educational facility in Chaska, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
This project includes: Removal of an existing masonry retaining wall, removal of portions of existing pavement. Rebuilding of the masonry retaining wall, minor regrading, new pavement. Submit with each bid, a certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Independent School District #112 in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before June 30, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Demolition: a. Remove existing masonry wall at loading dock, to extents shown on the Drawings. 2. Site / Civil: a. Removal of existing pavement, to extents shown on the Drawings, excavations. b. New work includes minor regrading, pavement, sodding. 3. Architectural / Structural: a. New reinforced masonry wall, including footings and foundations, precast concrete cap. 4. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work, and potential problems.
