Ball Field Turf Maintenance for West Mobile Park Services required includes, but is not limited to, application of fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fire ant control and other chemicals and materials to provide adequate turf maintenance of the ball fields. Contractor will furnish all equipment, materials, and labor. ontractor must specify the turf management plan by which the ballfields will be maintained by fertilization, seeding, application of herbicides, insecticides, etc. Fire Ant control is necessary. B. Contractor must coordinate work around sports play in order to ensure that all schedules are compatible with each other, communicate work schedules to the County, and resolve scheduling conflicts with Mobile County staff. C. In the event the contractor fails to accomplish any task under this scope of work, Mobile County will provide reasonable notice to take corrective action. If the contractor does not perform the service (corrective action), Mobile County may, at its option, cause the non-perform task to be accomplished through another source and deduct the cost of such from the amount normally due the contractor for that monthly period. D. All work to satisfy this contract shall be scheduled to take place while the sports fields are completely absent of any park goers. Absolutely no maintenance is to be performed while the public is present on the sports fields. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES - The contractor will provide his own labor, tools, equipment, chemicals and transportation. - The contractor will bill monthly for services rendered the preceding month. - No change orders will be authorized once contract has been awarded. - Contractor personnel will carry contractor identity at all times. The evaluation factors to be used during award selection(s) are as follows: Previous Performance/Experience - 0-30 Points; Project Manager - 0-10 Points; Key Staff and Sub-consultants - 0-15 Points; Available Resources and Location - 0-10 Points; Project Methodology, Approach, and Fees - 0-35 Points. Proposals have a 10-page limit.
