This project includes fencing and gates for a dog park located in Harrison Hills Park. Concrete sidewalks and pads for picnic tables are also to be included in this quote package. The Contractor shall commence the Work within 7 Days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed from the County, unless the Notice to Proceed states otherwise, and shall attain completion of the Work within 60 Days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed ("Contract time"), subject to adjustment in accordance with the Contract Documents. Submit with bid and make out to the name of the County a certified check or bid bond on County form in an amount equal to at least five percent (10%) of the total bid price; the County will take payment on the check or bond if the bidder fails to sign the Contract Documents within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of the Notice of Award or within a longer time, if the County specified a longer time in the Notice of Award, to compensate the County for its loss, damage, cost, and expense. Attach Power of Attorney to bid bond; date it, and seal and execute it by a proper LIVE or facsimile signature. The General Conditions and Supplementary Conditions set forth County's requirements as to Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds, and insurance. The County may reject the bid of any bidder it finds in its discretion to be unqualified. The County retains the right to terminate any contract(s) resulting from this solicitation upon thirty (30) days written notice.
