The Board of Trustees of San Jacinto Community College District ("SJCCD" or "College") has delegated to the College Administration the following responsibilities with respect to the selection of service providers for pre-construction and renovation of the Central Campus Marcom Building. Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code Section 2269.251, Contracts for Facilities: Construction Manager-at-Risk, it is the intent of the College to use a two-step process select a Construction Manager-at-Risk. Solicitation Description: Central Campus Marcom Building is 35,000 square feet on (2) two floors, constructed in 1966 of cast in place concrete with renovations in succeeding years. The work includes: . Demolition of the majority of interior improvements . Build back with all new Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing components . Probable addition of glazing to the building envelope. Monday, April 11, 2022 Deadline for submission of questions and/or clarifications regarding RFQ. Questions shall be submitted through IonWave by 5:00 p.m. Central Time in order to be considered. The College will not hold a site visit during the RFQ phase of this solicitation. A site visit will be held for the shortlisted firms who are invited to submit a Request for Proposals (RFP); see Section 3.1.C. for details regarding the Selection Process.
