The Project involves the construction of new wood-framed residential buildings on Cow Mountain Road on the Tule River Indian Reservation in Porterville, CA. The Project includes all associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and site work. The work to be performed pursuant to a Bid is subject to section 7(b) of the Indian SelfDetermination and Education Assistance Act ((25 U.S.C. 5307(b)). Section 7(b) requires that to the greatest extent feasible (1) preference and opportunities for training and employment shall be given to Indians, and (2) preferences in the award of contracts and subcontracts shall be given to Indian organizations and Indianowned economic enterprises. All firms submitting bids and claiming Indian Preference must include documentation satisfactory to show that they are Indian-owned. Completion- 240 consecutive calendar days
