The construction work covered by these specifications shall include the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor together with such appurtenances and incidentals as set forth in the specifications for the construction and reconstruction of handicap ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, concrete pavement, driveway aprons, adjustment and/or rebuilding of maintenance holes or inlet structures, inlet leads or storm laterals, and street excavation repairs of various types & sizes throughout the City of Appleton. Bids must be entered and submitted by 1:45 p.m. (C.S.T) April 18, 2022. Forms are included in specifications, and are also available at the office of the City Clerk. Reference is made to Section 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a bid bond (uploaded electronically during bid process) equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
