The City of Covina, California ("City") is requesting bid proposals from qualified contractors for professional City-wide janitorial services at various City locations. The successful contractor ("Contractor") will be required to provide appropriately trained professional janitorial personnel as well as requisite equipment in order to perform janitorial services of the highest quality. The term of the agreement is for three years, with two, one-year extensions. As the current agreement is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2022, time is of the essence to select and award a contractor. City anticipates City Council authorization to award a contract/agreement on June 21, 2022. Interested parties may not communicate about this RFB with elected officials or staff representing the City of Covina, or any other individuals retained by the City to support this procurement. All questions and requests for clarification must be submitted electronically to the point of contact identified below by 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Responses to questions submitted prior to the established question deadline will be released on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
