Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Willits, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project includes the following work on Blosser Lane, between the city limits to the south and the railroad tracks to the north: removal of existing AC sidewalk and concrete curb and gutter; construction of approximately 5,000 SF of new concrete sidewalk, including bulb-outs, corner ramps, and driveways; construction of approximately 1,500 LF of new curb and gutter; construction of a new concrete center median and bulb-outs for traffic calming; construction of approximately 1,900 SF of new stamped, colored concrete; installation of new signage; installation of two new storm drain inlets and construction of approximately 80 LF of new storm drain pipe; installation of three new water services; relocation of one existing sewer lateral and clean-out; construction of approximately 500 LF of new PVC irrigation line; planting of 12 new street trees with deep root watering devices for each; removal of approximately 43,000 SF of existing roadway at a depth of 17" and replacement with new subgrade fabric, base, and AC; and new paint and thermoplastic traffic markings.
